JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Mississippi's Division Of Medicaid is withdrawing its proposal to reduce payments to health care providers for April, May and June.
The program intended to trim their payments because of a projected funding shortfall. Director Bob Robinson said Friday Medicaid will make it through June 30th, the end of the budget year, without a deficit. He said cuts in administrative costs and decreases in spending on medical services have allowed for payments to continue.
