JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - In an effort to boost interest in homes for sale in Northeast Jackson realtors came together to hold a "summer fling." About 20 realtors hosted the open house event. Eighty nine homes were open to be toured for interested buyers this weekend in Northeast Jackson.
Realtors hope the summer fling will bring folks to the area who have never seen the beautiful neighborhoods and unique homes.
"(I) certainly believe that it's needed. A lot of people do not really truly understand what gorgeous houses and gorgeous properties we have here. I certainly believe that this alone has spiked some interest, not only for the city but hopefully for the entire market," said Century 21 realtor Sharon Durham.
Participating homes were marked with signs in the yard. This is the first summer fling in Northeast Jackson.
