Woman stabbed in Jackson apartment

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson police are investigating an afternoon stabbing in the Capitol City.

It happened at the Pebble Creek apartment complex on Woodway Drive off Manhattan Road.

Officers were called to Apartment K-2 around 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

Police found a woman who had been stabbed in the upper torso.

Her identify has not yet been released.

The victim was alert and talking as paramedics transported her to a hospital.

Police are calling it a domestic dispute and an unidentified male is being sought.
