Warrant issued for suspect in Madison County shooting

MADISON COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - The Madison County Sheriff's Department needs your help Thursday finding a man wanted in connection to a deadly shooting.

Just before 8 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to 162 Ramage Road where they found 28-year-old Jeremy Harper who had been shot.

He died a short time later at the scene.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 26-year-old Willie Nelson.

Nelson is described as a white male, 5-feet-5 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
