I-55 closures begin Thursday night

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) crews will close some lanes on Interstate-55 Southbound from Woodrow Wilson to Fortification Street for resurfacing.

MDOT will also close the Lakeland Drive to I-55 Southbound ramp beginning around 8:30 p.m. Thursday night. The work will end by 6 a.m. Friday morning.

These closures will happen each night for about the next two weeks until the project is completed.
