Jackson has country's cheapest gas prices

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson has the cheapest gas prices in the country. According to a Lundberg survey released Sunday, the capital city had the lowest average price of regular unleaded at $2.43 a gallon.

San Francisco, California was highest, according to the survey at $3.10 per gallon. All over the country the price of regular unleaded gasoline has dropped more than 11 cents over a three week period. The average price nationwide is now $2.72 a gallon.
