JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Authorities still want to question a 15-year-old in connection with the murder of a teenage girl.
Jackson police say Jasper Bell may have been an accessory in the crime.
Early Sunday morning, 16-year-old Falisha Miller was shot in the head at the Metro Inn Motel on Ellis Avenue. She later died at the hospital.
Motel owner Dr. Val Patel showed us room 234, the scene of the murder.
He says the room itself was intact, and it did not appear a struggle had taken place, but the bathroom was covered in blood. That's where Miller was found.
18-year-old Darion Givens has been charged with Miller's murder. He's being held under no bond.
Jackson police confirm that the room was rented for one night to Charles Givens, who is an adult, and is likely a relative of the accused.
