Police arrest shooting suspect

JACKSON, MS (WLBT)- Jackson police make a arrest in a shooting that occurred earlier this week.

Twenty-three year old Juan Christopher Jamison is charged with aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied vehicle. Authorities say Cara Shank was shot shortly before nine Tuesday night. She remains in a local hospital in stable condition.

Jamison, her ex-boyfriend, is being held at the Hinds County Adult Detention Center without bond. More arrests are expected.
