Caregiver arrested for illegally obtaining prescription

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A personal caregiver is arrested in Jackson for illegally obtaining a prescription drug.

Acting on a tip, MBN agents took Belinda Davis into custody last night at a south Jackson pharmacy. She works for a Flowood hospice and is accused of illegally acquiring 60 dosage units of the painkiller, Lortab, intended for a patient in her care.

Davis is being held in the Hinds County holding facility in Jackson awaiting an initial court appearance.
