Fire guts Jackson home

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Fire guts a capitol city home Tuesday night.

It happened in the 200 block of Sanford Street, near Ellis Avenue.

Family members who lived there said they had just left when they received a call about the fire.

The fire spread, damaging several rooms.

No word on the cause of the blaze and no injuries were reported.
