JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - It's only been six months since the last major water problems in the Capitol City.
In January of this year, subfreezing temperatures caused several pipes to break, crippling the city's well-water system.
For two weeks, approximately 16-thousand residents in Byram and Southwest Jackson had to boil their drinking water.
On January 24th, the City of Jackson finally got the go ahead to lift the boil water alert after water samples came back clear from the Mississippi State Health Department.
