WARREN COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - Three Warren County teenagers will each serve 15-years in prison for a 2009 killing.
A circuit judge sentenced 17-year-old Gemini Porter, 18-year-old Kersey Young and 18-year-old Roosevelt Dewayne Harris on Friday. The teens had pleaded guilty to manslaughter on June 3rd. They were charged in the March 15, 2009, death of 25-year-old Antonio Turner, who was shot in the back after a botched robbery.
The youths will be sent to the Walnut Grove Correctional Authority, which houses inmates younger than 21. After their release from prison they'll be on probation for five years.
