JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Water samples taken Sunday from Jackson's Northwest Hills Subdivision are clear, but the health department still requires one more day of testing before a boil water notice can be lifted.
A new sample is being taken and results will be made available Tuesday.
119 of 120 water samples taken over the weekend were clear. The one contaminated sample was from a test site on Michael Clay Drive.
The 200 households affected are in the Northwest Hills Subdivision. It's an area bordered by Boling Street, Northside Drive, Medgar Evers and Michael Avalon.
