JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The boil water notice for 200 households in Jackson's Northwest Hills subdivision has been lifted. Water samples taken Monday are clear.
The subdivision remained under a boil water notice Sunday when one of 120 water samples taken Saturday showed contamination.
Sunday's sample came back clear Monday morning, and today's report made it two days in a row.
Most of Jackson was put on a Precautionary Boil Water Alert Thursday morning, when a water main leak caused the city's pressure to drop.
Water pressure was restored later in the day, and the first test samples were taken Friday morning.
