Yandell Road back open after gas leak

MADISON COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A Madison County road is back open Wednesday night after a bush-hogging accident led its closure.

Around 4:00 p.m., a tractor accidentally hit a natural-gas line near Gluckstadt.  Officials then closed Yandell Road from Clarkdell Road to Clarkdell Road Extension while they worked to fix the leak.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

    One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
    Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.
