ALABAMA (WLBT) - An Alabama federal grand jury has indicted a Dutchman on charges of wire fraud and extortion.
Joran Van der Sloot allegedly tried to extort 250-thousand dollars from the mother of Natalee Holloway for information in connection to the location of the girl's body.

Wednesday night he is being held in Peru on murder charges in the death of a college student.
