Newborn baby found in suitcase outside church

MADISON COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - A newborn baby boy was found dead Friday afternoon around 2:30 p.m. stuffed inside a suitcase at the Smith Chapel Missionary Baptist Church on Livingston-Vernon Road in Flora.

At this time we do not know if anyone has been arrested, nor do we have an identity of the child.

An autopsy is being conducted.
