CLINTON, MS (WLBT) - On the fourth of July weekend families gather at Traceway Park in Clinton for some holiday fun. The city of Clinton hosted its annual family fireworks extravaganza Saturday. Dozens came out for the food and entertainment. Live music with Braden Gray and Crossin Dixon had couples dancing around. The festival also included a play world for kids with train rides, rock climbing wall and space jumps.
"I like that there's a bunch of games and you can just have fun with your family," said Hannah Stambough, a Clinton resident.
"Everybody gets together to see old friends and neighbors that you don't get to see and listen to good music, eat good food," said Robert Deyoung, a Clinton resident.
An elaborate fireworks display closed out the festival. This is the 21st year the city of Clinton's Parks and Recreation Department hosted the family event.
