YAZOO COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - 3 on Your Side told viewers Tuesday night about the drug called Spice and its growing popularity nationwide and in Central Mississippi.
It's an alternative to marijuana, but it's legal and can be found in many convenience stores.
After seeing WLBT's story on the trend, a Yazoo County supervisor called and told us he wants to get a county ordinance to stop the drug there.
In 30 days, owning, selling or using the chemically-laced incense will be illegal in Moss Point and Gautier, and similar measures are being considered in Jackson County, Pascagoula and Ocean Springs.
