Kidnapped girl found safe in Missouri

LOUISIANA, MISSOURI (WLBT) - A little girl abducted in Louisiana, Missouri is back safe with her family Wednesday night.

On Monday, the 4-year-old was playing in her front yard when the victim's brother saw a man drive up, order his sister into the car, then drive away.

Alisa Maier was found alone 24 hours later at a car wash 70 miles from her home.

Her hair had been cut, but she appeared to be fine.

Police said a man suspected in the girl's abduction shot himself after being approached by authorities.
