The final night of preliminary competition at the Miss Mississippi Pageant has produced three more winners with a tie in swimwear and a repeat win for a contestant who won in the talent preliminary in 2009.

Until Friday night only one contestant was a double preliminary winner. Danielle Smith Miss Mid South won the swimwear preliminary Wednesday and talent Thursday night. In the final night of prelims, Miss Rankin County Southwest became the second contestant to win in both talent and swimwear.

Megan Miller tied in talent Wednesday night with Miss Heritage Ashley Brooke Wieronski. She also tied in swimwear with Jill Duckworth Friday night, Miss Spirit Of The South. Duckworth is from Clinton, this is her first year to compete at Miss Mississippi.

"My platform is also Diabetes Education and Awareness and so I decided the best thing for me to do is make lifestyle changes myself to set an example for that. So that's really what I've done. I've lost over 20 pounds to get ready for this and just gotten really lean and healthy", said Duckworth.

"I've always been athletic in high school and in college and now that I've gotten in the gym and started working out to promote a healthy lifestyle and this pageant has really taught me that and it feels just great to exercise daily", Miller said.

Miller was in a near fatal accident in November and says after going through so much the pageant has been her way of putting it all behind her.

"I've already accomplished what I came here to do. I've done my absolute best so Top 10 great. I would be ecstatic you'd probably have to sweep me off the stage", Miller said.

In talent, Miss Delta Blues, Caitlyn Smith was the winner. She also won a talent prelim in 2009 but did not make the Top Ten.

"I'm confident in my interview and I worked really hard on my swimsuit as well, so hopefully those two things will be enough to carry me over in addition to this talent win, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Keep me in your prayers", said Smith.

The first order of business Saturday night in Vicksburg is naming the Top Ten contestants. From that group the new Miss Mississippi will be chosen.

The final four contestants of 12 who have been selected as Quality of Life finalists were announced last night. They were judged on essays they wrote about the groups and causes they volunteer for. They include, Miss Mississippi State University, Fenly Akers, Miss Spirit of The South, Jill Duckworth, Miss Magnolia, Audry Hardin and Miss Dixie, Marie Elizabeth Wicks. The winner of the Quality of Life scholarship will be named Saturday night.
