Two children injured in wreck, driver charged with DUI

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Two children were rushed to the hospital in Jackson Friday afternoon.

Skycopter 3 captured the aftermath of a wreck involving a pickup truck at Beasley Road and Glencross Drive.

Police say four children ages four, six, nine, and 10 were in the truck. The six and 10 year-olds were in the back and ejected. Both were taken to a local hospital, but the extent of their injuries is not known at this time.

The driver of the pickup, Don Sayles was taken into custody. He is charged with DUI and child restraints.
