Former CFO for Parkway Properties suing company

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A former executive of Parkway Properties is filing suit against the Jackson based company.

Mitch Collins worked as the company's Chief Financial Officer for two years. Attorneys for Collins filed a complaint against the company in Hinds County Circuit Court this week for constructive termination, defamation, fraud and misrepresentation.

According to the complaint, Collins resigned because senior officers failed to address quote - "misrepresentations and integrity issues."

Parkway properties subsequently announced Collins had been terminated.
