JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - There were four home invasions in the city of Jackson in two days.  JPD investigators said those crimes were committed by the same armed robbers and they need your help to catch them.

The home invasions have occurred in north and south Jackson at all hours of the day and night, but Jackson police said there is plenty of evidence to tie the four home invasions together.

The first three occurred in south Jackson on Saturday morning and Sunday with two on Gertrude Drive and one on Whitten Road.  Then the armed robbers traveled to north Jackson to Colonial Circle.

"I mean, I'm scared.  I'm not going to lie," said Chris Farimen.  He lives nearby the home where the most recent home invasion occurred on Colonial Circle.

He said about ten armed men kicked down the door and robbed the residents inside.

"Kicked in the door, all of them had guns and told them to get on the floor, they punched one guy in the face.  It took them about 20 minutes to get everything out of the house," said Farimen.

This same scenario played out three times before at homes in south Jackson over the weekend.  Nearly all of the victims were of Hispanic descent.

"Each case is a little bit different, but they did take control of the residents when they came in.  Some they asked to sit.  Some they made lay on the ground.  As far as the motive, it's been pretty consistent of the four we've had since Friday," said JPD Deputy Chief Brent Winstead.

According to Chief Brent Winstead, the robbers are all black males ranging in age from 18 to 24.  There is typically five or more of them traveling together.  At every home invasion, each man is armed with a handgun.  They drive a red SUV they stole from the home on Gertrude Drive, but they have also used a green and blue SUV.

"(If you) see any suspicious vehicles matching these descriptions with suspects they're not familiar with to give us a call so we can check that out," said Winstead.
