JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - One day after an accident involving a pothole on I-55 south sent a motorcycle rider to the hospital, MDOT crews were out patching up the interstate.
Asphalt trucks were spotted about a mile north of the Byram exit Tuesday morning..
Workers were making repairs to the roadway in the northbound lanes.
This is the same area where the motorcyclist lost control of his bike Monday. The 31-year-old rider was traveling southbound on his way to work when the accident happened.
