RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) - Two teenage girls were held up overnight in the drive thru of a Ridgeland fast food restaurant.
Lieutenant John Neal said Wednesday just after 1 a.m. the 16-year-olds were at the Burger King on Lake Harbour Drive when two black males pulled alongside them.
The men, described as around 20-years-old, jumped out and demanded money.
One suspect pointed a small caliber weapon at the girls and took their purses.
The teens were not injured.
They were driving a small black car described as a Volkswagen.
Neal said after the Ridgeland armed robbery, Jackson police reported a similar hold up at the Burger King on State Street.
Those men were last seen driving away in a black compact car, possibly a Nissan Sentra.
