WALTHALL COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - Police say Dustin Broussard, a prisoner who has escaped multiple times, is now back in custody.
McComb police officer Brian Boyd helped make the arrest Thursday afternoon in Walthall County. Boyd was among a group of officers assisting Walthall County authorities in the search.
Broussard's latest escape came on July 16 during a prisoner exchange with a private company hired to transport him from Arizona.
He was serving time for a probation violation after his third DUI offense and arson convictions.
Broussard also escaped in April, while attending his grandmother's funeral, and fled to Mexico.
