VICKSBURG, MS (WLBT) - Some two thousand dollars worth of Civil War relics were taken from the Old Court House Museum in Vicksburg.
A cap, ball pistol, Union officer's belt buckle and Confederate money were among the items taken.
Officials said a man who visited the museum on Monday and Tuesday may have acted as a distraction while someone else stole the items.
Police said as of Thursday there is no evidence linking the man to the theft.
