RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) - According to Ridgeland Police, they captured the armed robber who led them on a chase into Jackson Thursday night.  Around 11:30 p.m. two employees from Five Guys Burgers were robbed in the Renaissance shopping center parking lot.  A Ridgeland police officer spotted the suspect's vehicle on Interstate 55 south and a chase ensued into Jackson.  Metro One tracked the car from above while Jackson and Ridgeland Police cruisers were in pursuit on the ground.

"The chase led through a residential area, went down a dead end street, bailed out of the car, short foot pursuit and around 100 yards or so he was taken into custody," said Ridgeland Police Lt. John Neal.

Twenty-five year old Jerome Bracey, Jr. was arrested by Ridgeland Police.  He faces several charges including felony fleeing and armed robbery.
