Motorcyclist hit by a car

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - A motorcyclist is in the hospital after being hit by a car Friday night.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. in front of the Audubon Grove Apartments on Robinson Street.

Witnesses say two brothers were traveling north on their motorcycles when a red Pontiac cut between the two, clipping the second cyclist. The driver of that motorcycle was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The female driver of the car was questioned by police.

No word yet on whether any charges have been filed.
