Man arrested for killing daughter & son-in-law headed to court

TERRY, MS (WLBT) - The man arrested for killing his daughter and son-in-law in Terry will be in court Monday.

Sixty-four year-old James Bailey Sr. is charged with murder in the deaths of 39-year-old Becky Nelson and 40-year-old Richard Wayne Nelson Jr.

According to the Hinds County Sheriff's Department the couple was gunned down at their home in the 11-hundred block of Garrett Road in Terry.

It happened around 10 p.m. Friday night. Chief Deputy Steve Pickett would only call it a domestic dispute.

Bailey is being held at the Hinds County Detention Center.
