Terry double murder suspect in court Monday

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - James Bailey, Sr., 64, is scheduled to appear Monday in Hinds County Circuit Court for a bond hearing.

Bailey, Sr. is charged with two counts of murder in the shooting deaths of his daughter Becky Nelson, 39, and his son-in-law 40 year old Richard Wayne Nelson, Jr.

According to the Hinds County Sheriff's Department, the Nelsons were shot Friday night at their home in the 1100 block of Garrett Road in Terry.

The Hinds County coroner says Becky Nelson was shot in the chest, arm and chin and Richard Wayne Nelson, Jr. was shot in the head and chest.

Investigators say the deaths were the result of an ongoing dispute.
