JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The man accused of killing his daughter and son-in-law in Terry last Friday night was in court Monday.

Sixty-four year old James Bailey Senior appeared before Hinds County Circuit Judge William Barnett for a bond hearing. His bond was set at 400-thousand-dollars.

Bailey is charged with murder in the deaths of 39 year old Becky Nelson and 40 year old Richard Wayne Nelson Junior.

The Hinds County coroner says Becky Nelson was shot in the chest, arm and chin while her husband was shot in the head and chest.

Investigators say the murders were the result of an ongoing dispute.
