Man shot during home invasion

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson Police are on the scene of another home invasion and shooting. It happened in the 400-block of Flag Chapel Road.

Police say three men went inside a house, looking for someone or something. When they did not find what they were looking for, they shot a man who was inside the house.

Thirty-year-old Roderick Floyd was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the hip. Officers said the injury did not appear to be life-threatening.
