CARROLLTON, Miss. (AP) - The Carroll County Sheriff's Department has confiscated more than $120,000 in cash and about $50,000 in stolen goods after arresting three men in connection with the theft of more than $100,000 in property.
The Greenwood Commonwealth reports Sam Smith, his son Prentiss Smith and his grandson Prentiss Cornelius Smith are accused in the theft of property from a Carroll County home earlier this month.
The property included several four-wheelers, a trailer, a large utility vehicle, a Kawasaki Mule, a generator, and other miscellaneous items.
It was not immediately known whether the suspects have attorneys.
