
CLEVELAND, Miss. (AP) - The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is continuing its investigation into the death of a 30-year-old Cleveland man who died after being jolted twice by police stun guns.
Bolivar County Coroner Nathaniel Brown says Jermaine Williams died on July 23 after police used Tasers to subdue him.
Brown tells The Bolivar Commercial that Williams was hit in the back and front of his body. He says toxicology results are pending.
The Cleveland Police Department recently started using the Taser X26.
