Oktibbeha Co. murder trial continued

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - The trial of an Oktibbeha County woman charged with murder has been continued because a witness was unavailable.

Leslie Sharp was charged with murder for the shooting death of 20-year-old Christopher Cole of Mathiston in November 2008 on a rural road in northeastern Oktibbeha County.

The Starkville Daily News reports the new trial date is Nov. 1 in Oktibbeha County Circuit Court.
