
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) – Jackson police make a major copper theft arrest, and now they want to know if your business may have been targeted by the suspect.
Jackson Police Detective Jaye Coleman said 45 year old J.W. Green of Jackson is charged with copper theft.
He is accused of selling more than $42,000.00 worth of stolen materials in the past year.
According to investigators with the Pawn Shop and Burglary Unit, Green made 112 sales to local scrap yards.
Police said Green is responsible for stealing number one and number two grade copper from area businesses.
