Two men remain in custody after attempted fake laptop sell

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Two men were behind bars Saturday night accused of selling fake laptops to a law enforcement officer.

Fifty-four year old Frank Hamilton and 45-year-old Eddie Handford were arrested Thursday by the Hinds County Sheriff's Department at the state fairgrounds.

They are each charged with two counts of trademark infringement and illegal sale of goods bearing counterfeit labels.

Investigators say Hamilton and Handford tried to pass off a block of wood and a notebook binder with paper as computers.
