
OLIVE BRANCH, MS (WLBT) - Governor Haley Barbour announces the creation of hundreds of new manufacturing jobs in north Mississippi as a California Company begins operations.
Solidigm Incorporated , which makes energy efficient windows, will locate a manufacturing facility in Olive Branch. Governor Barbour says more than 300 new jobs will be created. The company, founded in 2007, will invest more than $130 million dollars into the operation.
Barbour says the state of Mississippi provided a $40 million loan with an additional $4 million in Momentum Mississippi Incentives for improvements to the company's new facility. No word on a start date.
