GULFPORT, MS (WLBT) - The Magnolia State now has six heat-related deaths this year.
Two women were found dead inside their home in Gulfport, both victims of heat stroke.
The Harrison County coroner said Thursday the two sisters had been dead two weeks.
Deputies discovered the women Wednesday at their home after neighbors, worried about their safety, notified authorities.
Two deaths took place in Monroe County and the others in Jefferson County and in Moss Point on the coast.
