Man dies from fatal collision with 18-wheeler

SIMPSON COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - One man is killed on Highway 49 in Simpson County. According to Coroner Terry Tutor, a man died in a wreck on Highway 49 south near Mendenhall around 6 p.m. 

Coroner Tutor is not releasing his name until family members have been notified.

The man was driving a jeep when it collided with an 18 wheeler.

So far, no word on what caused the accident.
