Police search for man who tried to rob gas station - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Jackson police are looking for the man who tried to rob a gas station Monday morning.
It happened around 7:45 at the Shell station on Highway 80 and Westhaven Boulevard.
According to police, a man jumped over the counter with a billy club. He tried to open a safe, but was unsuccessful. He then fled the scene. No one was hurt, and nothing was taken.
Police said the man was wearing a black bandana, black backpack, and dark clothing.
