HAZLEHURST, MS (WLBT) - A jury found four men accused of gang raping a Co-Lin student last year not guilty Wednesday.
19 year olds Cameron Clark, Damonte Glover, Justin Sandifer, and 26 year old Jason West were all found not guilty of sexual battery charges.
The alleged rape occurred on the campus of Copiah-Lincoln Community College on October 6th, 2009, in the Ellzey dorm, housing designated for male students.
The alleged victim, a 17-year-old freshman, said she drank vodka that night, and she woke up in a bed with all the suspects around her.
Prosecutors played surveillance video of a group of men bringing the young woman to the doorway of her dorm, placing her on the ground.
The indictment alleged she was physically helpless when the men engaged in sexual acts with her.
The defense contended the 17-year-old engaged in consensual oral sex.
Co-Lin's Police Chief testified that a DNA test from the woman's rape kit did not match that any of the four men.
The case was given to jurors just before noon Wednesday.
During the afternoon, they sent two notes to the judge; the first asking for a written transcript of the victim's testimony, and the second note informing the judge they were deadlocked.
Both times the jurors were told to keep deliberating.
They reached a verdict around 7:30 Wednesday night.
