Historic building under renovation - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - The old U.S. Navy Reserve Training Center on Jefferson Street in Jackson is being renovated and a new records center is being built behind it.
The four million dollar project is being paid for with general obligation bonds.
Several blocks up the street an old armory faces an uncertain future. Cost estimates to renovate it are eight or nine million dollars and the money is just not available to do that right now.
