Deputies investigate deadly Scott Co shooting

SCOTT COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - Deputies in Scott County are investigating an early morning shooting. It happened around 4am right outside the Morton city limits.

Officials tell us it took place on Man Lindsey Road. Authorities say a group of people were inside the home arguing when shots rang out. A man name Ollie Lewis was shot and killed.

Investigators say they have someone in custody for questioning but are not releasing that person's name.
