RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) - WLBT first reported about the drug "spice" in July. Now three metro area cities have joined the growing list of local governments in the magnolia state that have banned the drug.
It's typically sold as an incense but many use this synthetic marijuana to get high.
The cities of Ridgeland, Florence and Clinton voted Tuesday to make the sale and/or possession of spice illegal.
Back in April Pearl became the first metro area city to ban the drug.
