Clinton market draws hundreds

Posted: Updated:

CLINTON, MS (WLBT) - Every other Saturday you can find craftsmen and local farmers selling their goods all in one spot.

Clinton's Olde Towne Street Market drew a large crowd Saturday morning.

Dozens of vendors showed off their work at the open air market located on Jefferson Street. It's a place for local artists and farmers to sell their products.

Savvy shoppers could find one of a kind art pieces, jewelry, furniture, clothing and much more.

Then more vendors turn out for the holiday market in November.

"That's a big market.  Last year we had about 100 vendors came in, so that pulls a lot of people from the community.  We're very excited about that," said Kelly Varner, market manager.

Clinton's next Olde Towne Street Market will take place on September 4th from 9:00 a.m. until  1 p.m..
