BILOXI, MS (WLBT) - A late night superstar is in Biloxi this weekend to help victims of the Coastal Crisis.
"Tonight Show" host Jay Leno performed his stand up comedy act for a big crowd Saturday night at the Beau Rivage Theater in Biloxi.
Leno, known for his philanthropic work has made the Gulf Coast's oil recovery his latest project.
Earlier in the month, he announced that all the proceeds of his show would be donated to the Gulf Coast Community Foundation and its Mississippi Oil Spill Recovery Fund.
"I think it's very important to keep focusing on it this is a problem that's going to be around this area for a long long time and I see a lot of these people that are out of work shrimp boat people or whatever and businesses connected with the Gulf and it's an easy way to help out," Leno said.
