RANKIN COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - Rankin County's chief deputy said the man accused of causing trouble on Tara Road earlier this month remains behind bars.

Forty-six-year-old George Spann was arrested August 10 after a frightened homeowner called authorities about a home invasion in progress. Spann lives in the area according to authorities.

He is charged with trespassing, malicious mischief and stalking, all misdemeanor crimes. Families on that street told WLBT they had been terrorized by a black male for the past month.
